Summary
CVE-2024-1954 is a vulnerability found in the Oliver POS – A WooCommerce Point of Sale (POS) plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 2.4.1.8. The vulnerability arises due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the includes/class-pos-bridge-install.php file. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to carry out unauthorized actions, such as deactivating the plugin, disconnecting the subscription, and syncing the status, by tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM with a score of 6.3 according to CVSS version 3.1 standards. The impact is rated as LOW in terms of integrity and confidentiality, and LOW in terms of availability.
