Summary
CVE-2024-1861 is a vulnerability affecting the Disable Json API, Login Lockdown, XMLRPC, Pingback, Stop User Enumeration Anti Hacker Scan plugin for WordPress. This issue arises from a missing capability check on the antihacker_truncate_scan_table() function, which exists in all versions up to 4.52. Consequently, authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to truncate the scan table, leading to unauthorized data modification. This vulnerability could potentially result in significant data loss or corruption for affected WordPress websites.
