Summary

CVE-2024-1810 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Archivist – Custom Archive Templates plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.7.5 are vulnerable due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'shortcode_attributes' parameter. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, potentially tricking users into clicking malicious links and executing malicious code.
