CVE-2024-1777 is a vulnerability affecting the Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress, specifically the Admin side data storage. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the plugin's settings through Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. The vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including version 1.1.1, due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the settings update function. To remediate this vulnerability, site administrators should update the Contact Form 7 plugin to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
