Summary
CVE-2024-1696 is a vulnerability affecting Santesoft Sante FFT Imaging versions 1.4.1 and earlier. This issue permits a local attacker to execute arbitrary code by performing an out-of-bounds write on affected installations. The vulnerability arises when opening a maliciously crafted DCM file. This weakness could potentially be exploited to gain unauthorized system access and execute malicious commands. Users are advised to update their FFT Imaging software to mitigate this risk.
