Summary
CVE-2024-1684 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Otter Blocks plugin for WordPress, specifically the contact form file field CSS metabox. This issue, existing in versions up to 2.6.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will be executed whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin.
