Summary
CVE-2024-1622 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Routinator, a BGP security tool. The flaw stems from an error in Routinator's error checking mechanism. If an incoming RTR connection is prematurely reset by a peer, Routinator will terminate without proper handling of the situation. This could potentially lead to service disruptions or unintended consequences in network configurations.
