Summary

CVE-2024-1590 is a vulnerability affecting the Page Builder: Pagelayer - Drag and Drop website builder plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, leading to stored cross-site scripting. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.8.2 of the plugin due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their plugin to the latest version available.
