Summary

CVE-2024-1586 is a vulnerability found in the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.26 of the plugin. It is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability, caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when a user accesses the injected page. The required authentication level is admin by default, but administrators can assign role-based access to users as low as subscriber. The risk score for this vulnerability is 26 out of 100, with a base severity of MEDIUM and a base score of 6.4 according to the CVSS:3.1 rating provided by [email protected].
