Summary
CVE-2024-1585 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Metform Elementor Contact Form Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.8.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's shortcodes. The consequence of this flaw is that any injected page will execute the web scripts whenever a user accesses it.
