Summary

CVE-2024-1537 is a vulnerability found in the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 5.9.9. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to execute stored cross-site scripting attacks through the plugin's Data Table widget. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes enable the injection of arbitrary web scripts, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The severity of this vulnerability is rated as MEDIUM, with a base score of 6.4 according to CVSS:3.1 standards.
