Summary

CVE-2024-1523 is a cyber vulnerability that affects EC-WEB FS-EZViewer(Web)'s query functionality. This vulnerability allows remote attackers who are authenticated as regular users to inject SQL commands, enabling them to read, modify, and delete database records, as well as execute system commands. The attackers may also exploit the privilege escalation by leveraging the dbo privilege in the database, thereby elevating their privileges to administrator level. The potential danger this vulnerability poses to an organization is high, with a base severity rating of HIGH and a base score of 8.8 out of 10.
