Summary

CVE-2024-1521 is a vulnerability found in the Elementor Website Builder Pro plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages by uploading an SVGZ file via the Form widget. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 3.20.1 of the plugin. However, it can only be exploited on web servers running NGINX and not on those running Apache HTTP Server. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, with a base severity of MEDIUM. To remediate the vulnerability, users are advised to update to a patched version of the plugin when available.
