Summary

CVE-2024-1506 is a vulnerability found in the Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 3.13.1 of the plugin. It is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'title_tags' attribute of the Fiestar widget. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, indicating a medium severity level. To remediate this issue, users are advised to update their Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor plugin to a version that is not affected by this vulnerability.
