Summary

CVE-2024-1489 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the SMS Alert Order Notifications plugin for WooCommerce on WordPress. Versions up to 3.6.9 are impacted by this issue. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient nonce validation on the processBulkAction function, which allows unauthenticated attackers to execute malicious actions, such as deleting pages and posts, by tricking a site administrator into performing a specific action, like clicking on a link. This can result in unintended data loss or other security consequences.
