Summary

CVE-2024-1393 is a vulnerability affecting the Elementor Addon Elements plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'icon_align' attribute of the Content Switcher widget. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.12.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. If exploited, these injected scripts can execute whenever a user accesses an affected page.
