Summary

CVE-2024-1392 is a vulnerability that affects the Elementor Addon Elements plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.12.12. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'button1_icon' attribute of the Dual Button widget. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when accessed by users.
