Summary

CVE-2024-1382 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Restaurant Reservations plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.9, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary PHP files through the nd_rst_layout attribute of the nd_rst_search shortcode. Attackers can leverage this vulnerability to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution. Inclusion of malicious PHP files can lead to serious security implications. It is strongly recommended that WordPress site administrators update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
