Summary
CVE-2024-1380 is a vulnerability affecting the Relevanssi – A Better Search plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the lack of capability checks on the relevanssi_export_log_check() function, found in all versions up to 4.22.0. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to export query log data, posing a risk to sensitive information. The plugin vendor is considering adding authorization controls, but the vulnerability can theoretically be mitigated through other means in the interim.
