Summary
CVE-2024-1364 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Website Builder Pro plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.20.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied custom_id attributes in widgets. Consequently, injected pages contain these scripts, which execute whenever a user accesses them.
