CVE-2024-1334 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the ImageRecycle pdf & image compression plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.1.13 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the lack of proper nonce validation on the "enableOptimization" function. This flaw enables an unauthenticated attacker to trick a site administrator into enabling image optimization via a malicious link, leading to potential security risks.
