Summary

CVE-2024-1239 is a vulnerability affecting the ElementsKit Elementor addons plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 3.0.4. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access and above to exploit stored cross-site scripting through the blog post read more button. This occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling the injection of arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user accesses an injected page.
