CVE-2024-1236 is a vulnerability found in the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 5.9.8. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts through the Filterable Controls label icon parameter, leading to stored cross-site scripting attacks.
