Summary
CVE-2024-1235 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Addons plugin by Livemesh for WordPress. Versions up to and including 8.3.2 are vulnerable to this issue. The flaw lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the custom class field, enabling authenticated attackers, with contributor access or higher, to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions or data exposure.
