The vulnerability with CVE ID CVE-2024-1129 affects the NEX-Forms – Ultimate Form Builder – Contact forms and much more plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to mark records as starred without proper authorization checks. The affected versions include all versions up to, and including, 8.5.6. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update the plugin to a version that is not affected by the issue. The potential danger this vulnerability poses to organizations is unauthorized access and manipulation of records by attackers with elevated access privileges.
