Summary

CVE-2024-1080 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Beaver Builder WordPress Page Builder plugin, versions up to and including 2.7.4.4. This issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject malicious scripts via the heading tag. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
