CVE-2024-1074 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Beaver Builder plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 2.7.4.2. Authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into the 'link_url' parameter of the audio widget. These scripts will execute whenever a user visits an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions or data exposure. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to bypass security measures and compromise affected websites.
