CVE-2024-1073 is a vulnerability that affects the SlimStat Analytics plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 5.1.3. The vulnerability is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, which allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This means that whenever a user accesses an injected page, the scripts will execute. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
