Summary
CVE-2024-1072 is a high-severity vulnerability that affects the Website Builder by SeedProd plugin for WordPress, up to and including version 6.15.21. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to modify data without authorization, potentially altering the contents of various pages such as coming-soon, maintenance, login, and 404 pages. Although version 6.15.22 attempts to address the issue, it introduces a bug affecting admin pages. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to upgrade to version 6.15.23 of the plugin. This vulnerability poses a potential danger to organizations using the affected versions of the plugin as it could lead to unauthorized modifications of critical website pages and compromise the integrity of their content and user experience.
