Summary

CVE-2024-1071 is a SQL Injection vulnerability found in the Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin for WordPress. The affected versions range from 2.1.3 to 2.8.2. The vulnerability occurs due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of proper preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject additional SQL queries into existing ones, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information from the database.
