Summary
CVE-2024-1066 is a vulnerability affecting GitLab Enterprise Edition (EE), impacting versions 13.3.0 through 16.8.2. An attacker can exploit this issue by using GraphQL's `vulnerabilitiesCountByDay` function for resource exhaustion. This vulnerability enables attackers to cause excessive consumption of system resources, potentially leading to denial of service conditions. GitLab strongly advises users to upgrade their EE instances to the patched versions as soon as possible.
