Summary
CVE-2024-1055 is a vulnerability affecting the PowerPack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This can be exploited by authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The affected versions of the plugin include all versions up to 2.7.14. To remediate the vulnerability, users should update to the latest version of the plugin as soon as possible.
