CVE-2024-1053 is a vulnerability affecting the Event Tickets and Registration plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to gain unauthorized access to the attendees list by bypassing a missing capability check on the 'email' action. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 5.8.1, potentially putting event organizer data at risk.
