Summary
CVE-2024-1043 is a vulnerability affecting the AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin for WordPress. This issue stems from a missing capability check on the 'amppb_remove_saved_layout_data' function, which exists in all versions up to and including 1.0.93.1. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher can exploit this flaw to delete arbitrary posts on WordPress sites, leading to unauthorized loss of data.
