Summary

CVE-2024-0999 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Totolink N200RE router with firmware version 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216. The issue lies within the setParentalRules function of the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file, which can be exploited through a stack-based buffer overflow caused by the manipulation of the argument eTime. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to exploit the system, with the exploit having been disclosed to the public. The identifier for this vulnerability is VDB-252268. Unfortunately, the vendor was not responsive to early disclosures regarding this issue.
