Summary
CVE-2024-0907 is a vulnerability affecting the NEX-Forms plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the plugin's restore_records() function, which lacks adequate capability checks. As a result, authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above can exploit this vulnerability to unauthorizedly restore records, potentially leading to data manipulation or unintended changes. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 8.5.6. It is essential for WordPress users to update their plugin as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
