Summary

CVE-2024-0895 is a vulnerability found in the PDF Flipbook, 3D Flipbook – DearFlip plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the outline settings in versions up to and including 2.2.26 of the plugin. This occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied data. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM and a base score of 5.4 according to NIST's National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
