Summary

CVE-2024-0859 is a vulnerability in the Affiliates Manager plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 2.9.34. The vulnerability is classified as a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and is caused by missing or incorrect nonce validation on the process_bulk_action function in ListAffiliatesTable.php. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to delete affiliates by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The potential danger this poses to an organization is that an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to delete affiliates, potentially causing disruption to the affiliate program and impacting business operations.
