Summary
CVE-2024-0699 is a vulnerability affecting the "AI Engine: Chatbots, Generators, Assistants, GPT 4 and more!" plugin for WordPress. This issue arises from the lack of file type validation in the 'add_image_from_url' function, present in all versions up to 2.1.4. Consequently, authenticated attackers with Editor access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary files onto the targeted site's server. The uploaded files may potentially contain malicious code, leading to remote code execution.
