Summary

CVE-2024-0664 is a vulnerability affecting the Meks Smart Social Widget plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 1.6.3. The vulnerability is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. It allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses the injected page. This vulnerability only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
