Summary

CVE-2024-0660 is a vulnerability affecting the Formidable Forms – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, Payment, Calculator Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to change form settings and inject malicious JavaScript via a forged request, as long as they can deceive a site administrator into performing an action. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 6.7.2 due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the update_settings function. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update the plugin to the latest version available. This vulnerability poses a medium-level danger to organizations as it could lead to unauthorized changes in form settings and potential injection of malicious code.
