Summary

CVE-2024-0624 is a vulnerability that affects the Paid Memberships Pro – Content Restriction, User Registration, & Paid Subscriptions plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 2.12.7. The vulnerability is categorized as a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the pmpro_update_level_order() function. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the fact that attackers can update the order of levels on affected websites. To remediate this issue, users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin when it becomes available.
