Summary
CVE-2024-0624 is a vulnerability that affects the Paid Memberships Pro – Content Restriction, User Registration, & Paid Subscriptions plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 2.12.7. The vulnerability is categorized as a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the pmpro_update_level_order() function. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the fact that attackers can update the order of levels on affected websites.
