Summary

CVE-2024-0621 is a vulnerability that affects the Simple Share Buttons Adder plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 8.4.11. It is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. This can lead to the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update to the latest version of the plugin as soon as it becomes available.
