Summary
CVE-2024-0602 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the YARPP (Yet Another Related Posts Plugin) for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient sanitization and output escaping of admin settings, making it susceptible to attacks. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions can inject malicious scripts into pages. This vulnerability poses a risk only for multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. Successful exploitation can lead to the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
