Summary
CVE-2024-0597 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO for WordPress. Affecting versions up to and including 12.3.15, this issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This issue only poses a threat to multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
