Summary
CVE-2024-0535 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Tenda PA6 1.0.1.21 model. The issue lies within the cgiPortMapAdd function in the /portmap component of the httpd software. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the groupName argument, resulting in a stack-based buffer overflow. This weakness can be exploited remotely, and the exploit has been made public. The vulnerability has been assigned the identifier VDB-250705. Unfortunately, despite early disclosure to the vendor, they have not responded to address the issue.
