Summary

CVE-2024-0449 is a vulnerability found in the ArtiBot Free Chat Bot for WordPress WebSites plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.1.6 and is classified as Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings of the plugin. As a result, authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when accessed by users. It's important to note that this vulnerability only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
