Details
Summary
CVE-2024-0448 is a vulnerability found in the Elementor Addons by Livemesh plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 8.3.1. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to exploit stored cross-site scripting (XSS) by injecting arbitrary web scripts via the plugin's widget URL parameters. The lack of input sanitization and output escaping makes it possible for these injected scripts to execute whenever a user accesses an affected page. This vulnerability poses a medium risk to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized code execution and potential manipulation of website content. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their Elementor Addons plugin to the latest version available.
