Summary

CVE-2024-0379 is a vulnerability affecting the Custom Twitter Feeds – A Tweets Widget or X Feed Widget plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 2.2.1. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to update the site's Twitter API token and secret through a forged request, if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the ctf_auto_save_tokens function. The risk score for this vulnerability is 5, indicating a medium severity level.
