Summary

CVE-2024-0255 is a vulnerability found in the WP Recipe Maker plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 9.1.0. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes, making it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability poses a medium risk with a base severity score of 6.4 out of 10. To remediate the issue, users should update their WP Recipe Maker plugin to version 9.1.1 or higher.
